New Police Community Liaison Officer for Malpas

PC Nigel Jones is our Malpas contact. He can be contacted by calling 245473.

The Local Police team believe in pro-active policing and welcome any information that will help them to provide a more efficient service. Their workload is enormous and sometimes this can lead to delays in answering calls.

Many people become frustrated and often this leads to residents not passing on vital information. Because the team have to prioritise their activities, less serious issues have to be postponed and often when they get to the scene of a reported incident it is sometimes too late to take action. However, as many issues are recurring problems they will be able to police our ward more effectively if they are provided with effective times and descriptions of the disorder or potential crimes.

So we urge you to call in whenever you think there is a potential for disorder or crime. The calls will be logged and this will provide valuable intelligence that will help that solve the problems in the long term.

PC Jones spends a great deal of time in the Ward and wants to find out as much as he can about our local problems so they can provide the best service. We urge residents to keep the Police team informed of anything that might help with this service.
